Recruiting - Senior High Youth Retreat

The adult staff for 2011 is thrilled to be preparing for another awesome mission trip this summer.  We had some help recruiting this past week at the Virginia Conference Senior High Youth Retreat.  Amy Johnson and Jan Failes spoke to prospective applicants about joining us at the Walk For Change.  Lots of youth expressed interest in combining their passion for music and mission.  On Sunday morning, adult staff member Jordan Markwood talked to different breakfast tables about applying.  While some youth seemed a bit shy at first, most opened up and showed some interest in traveling to the Dominican Republic and Haiti this summer.  Go to www.voyva.org to download the application to travel on the trip as an adult or college staff, youth, or be a host church.  Applications are due January 3 so make sure to complete yours today and experience blessings beyond measure!
